Pronouns: the rules these questions test

Drop the other name to test I or me: "Ben and ___ are on the team": drop Ben and you get "I am on the team", so it is I. "The coach gave medals to Sam and ___": "gave medals to me", so it is me.
Prepositions take the object form: between you and me, to her, for us. "Between you and I" is a very common overcorrection.
Possessive pronouns have no apostrophe: hers, ours, yours, theirs, its. her's and your's do not exist.
